Residential Curbside Recycling

The City of Denison offers an automated recycling collection system that uses a blue 95-gallon recycling cart. Recyclables will be collected every other week. Be sure to place your recycling cart approximately 3 feet from your trash cart. All mixed recyclables can be placed in the provided 95-gallon cart; there is no need to sort materials for collection. Please have recycling carts out by 6:30 am. See information below for acceptable or unacceptable items or download the print-out to keep on hand.

For more information regarding your trash pick-up day, recycle pick-up day, and brush/bulk schedule, please click on the trash and recycle interactive map link below and enter your address. This will give you schedules specific to your location.

Non-Resident Recycling

Due to the end of our current recycling contract with Waste Connections, and new contract with Republic Services, commercial collection of recycling refuse at our Residential Collection Station is ending. Effective 02/01/2023, the City of Denison will no longer have commercial recycling dumpsters at our Residential Collection Station. The commercial recycling dumpsters owned by Waste Connections, and located at the Residential Collection Station, will be removed and recycling refuse from residents outside City limits will no longer be able to be accepted.
