The Denison Office of Emergency Management is under the direction of Emergency Management Coordinator Morgan Metcalf.
The Denison OEM coordinates disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery activities with the mission of providing a safe and secure environment to the residents and businesses of Denison. The OEM provides leadership, coordination and support to reduce the loss of life and property through a comprehensive, all-hazards emergency management program. To accomplish this mission, the Denison OEM works closely with the Grayson County OEM. Grayson County OEM is the primary liaison and point of coordination with the Texas Division of Emergency Management and FEMA during a catastrophic event affecting all or part of Denison.
