The juvenile docket is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Denison City Hall located at 300 W. Main Street, Denison, Texas. Each juvenile defendant shall have a parent or legal guardian accompany them to their hearing before the court. The dress code outlined in the Notice of Hearing mailed out will be strictly enforced. Please bring a government issued or school identification card to your hearing. If you plan to request a driver safety course for deferred, you must bring a valid driver's license and proof of insurance with the juvenile defendant's name on it. Should you not be able to keep your scheduled court date, the defendant must appear with a parent or legal guardian at the Court Clerk's window at least 48 hours before the scheduled court date to request a continuance or reset.
The Pre-Trial Docket is held on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Denison City Hall located at 300 W. Main Street, Denison, Texas. This is the defendant's opportunity to speak with the Prosecutor and try to reach a pre-trial plea agreement. If the defendant and prosecutor are not able to reach an agreement to resolve the case, the defendant has the right to set their case for trial.

2nd Chance Docket
The 2nd Chance Docket is held on the first and fourth Wednesdays of each month. The Second Chance Docket is a defendant's final opportunity to make an initial appearance, enter a plea and resolve their citation before going to Warrant status. The defendant is required to bring a form of identification for their first appearance on a citation in order for the court to verify the defendant's identity. If a defendant wishes to be considered for deferred or defensive driving, they must bring proof of valid insurance in their name.
Capias Show Cause Docket
The Capias Show Cause Docket is held on the second and third Wednesdays of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Denison City Hall located at 300 W. Main Street, Denison, Texas. This is the defendant's last opportunity to speak with the Judge about special circumstances concerning resolving citations before they go to warrant status. If you have any paperwork regarding your financial condition, please bring this documentation with you to court as outlined in your Notice of Hearing. Should you not be able to keep your scheduled court date, you must submit a written request for a continuance or reset at least 48 hours before your scheduled hearing.
