About the Role:

As a Communications Specialist, you would be responsible for:

  • Answering emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Dispatching police, fire, and emergency medical services
  • Providing essential information and support to first responders
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of all communications

Qualifications

While we are not hiring at the moment, typical qualifications for a Communications Specialist include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency with computers and technology
  • Previous experience in dispatch or public safety (preferred but not required)
