Medication Disposal Program

Med box

The Denison Police Department has established a medication disposal program that allows Denison residents to safely dispose of unwanted and expired medications.  Responsible disposal of unused medication is an important step toward reducing the risk of child poisoning, drug abuse, water supply contamination, and other hazards.

Through a partnership with CVS, a drug disposal drop box was placed in the lobby of the Denison Police Department, located at 108 W. Main St. Denison, TX. 75021.  The drop box is a secure container in which certain medications can be placed for proper destruction.  The service is free to use; however, it is intended for use by Denison residents only and is not available for business use.

Available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No appointment is needed.
