Medication Disposal Program
The Denison Police Department has established a medication disposal program which affords Denison residents the means to safely dispose of unwanted and expired medications. Responsible disposal of unused medication is an important step toward reducing the risk of child poisonings, drug abuse, water supply contamination and other hazards. Through a partnership with CVS, a drug disposal drop box was placed in the lobby of the Denison Police Department, located at 108 W. Main St. Denison, TX. 75021. The drop box is a secure container into which certain medications can be placed for proper destruction. There is no charge to use the service; however, it is intended for use by Denison residents only and is not available for business use.
This is available Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. No appointment is needed.
