Minimum Starting Salary - $70,350

Top Out Salary - $91,791

Lateral salary is dependent on the size of the agency, experience, and at the Chief's discretion. To qualify for lateral pay, certified officers must be currently working for a law enforcement agency or recently worked for a law enforcement agency within the last 3 months. However, applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 

Definition of Certified Officer

A peace officer certified in the state of Texas, or an out-of-state certified officer that successfully challenges the Texas peace officer exam.
